English Challenges

Hello.
Today I'm gonna talk about how it was had english classes this semester.
I think this semester has been relaxed and productive, because we made a lot of things and we understood the things we did.

First, I enjoyed watching movies, because (maybe I sleep a little in classes but) the films was interesting, so it was not a punishment and I think I understand almost all what happened in the stories.

not this Momo, not again
Poems and videos were greatful too. Maybe some text was a little long (and I was a little bored, but almost always I enjoyed (thanks for choose literature from Central America and by women-I couldn’t survive more colonialism). So, english was a good experience (maybe I don´t enjoy talk in english or spanish with my classmates but it's necessary).

And about writing blogs: I like to write but not topics about the career (I thing is harmful, university makes me cry (nop but yes)). So, the subjects sometimes are not the best but when we have free topics or we have to write about films it´s really ok. (But I haven´t learnt much vocabulary or grammar)

A thing I have to improve is my listening, because I’m a little deaf (damn) also I read english subtitles all time so when I have to listen it´s hard. So, I think with more practice without subtitles I could understand clearly. Also I have to learn vocabulary and my speaking (but I don´t wanna talk haha)

Recently, I’m watching more stuff videos on youtube and I can know that I listen, same with memes and momos. On classes some teachers put pieces of films in English and I think I understood. So, cool.
A thing I really like of this semester is I didn´t dedicate time to do blogs or activities (only the videoblogs). I think this is great, because it doesn´t tedious the studying.

         Well, that´s all!

  1. Daniela, Just listen to lots of music in English hehe. I'm glad you appreciated reading the texts and poems. I always think it's important to show black women authors because they are the least represented in English literature. Take care :)

  2. I'm agree with you about the topics, maybe it would be more interesting to write about other types of things
