Jimmy's Hall
Hi, fellas
Today I’m going to
talk about the film Jimmy’s Hall, an
irish movie about a real story in the
civil war of this country.
I like the movie
because it deeps in the history of Ireland and it has a point of view and a way
very frail and kinda pretty. Also the movie takes the conflicts with the irish
people (who don’t belong to IRA) and the
Catholic Church and how both persecute communist and anyone who represents some
difference. So, we have priest obsessed with a man who has a place where people
share and the priest in the name of church and trinity has the power to incite
to the violence.
I like the art of the movie, colors and, of course, the story. The thing
I didn’t like is the final because I think the last frame was so much time and
the fade was so unnecessary, I understand the reference to a photo but it was
ugly hahah.
My favorite scene is when Jimmy visit the priest and tell him a pair of thruths.

I love when the mother lose the key too! And I'm agree with you, the final was totally unnecessary :(
ResponderEliminarHi! I also like the film, but I also think that the movie end was a bit stranger and it could be of other way...
