The Wind That Shake The Barley
Hi, everyone! I just saw The Wind
That Shake The Barley, I liked because I knew a little about the history of
Ireland and the war for independence, but I don't really wonder for the intern
conflicts (all battle have it) and the stories into the facts, and
the film makes me though it. Also I liked because it‘s very political, because
put the problem of the membership to Britain in compromise, when one of the
countries of Ireland Island still being part of the UK and it remember the sense
of the war and the brotherhood between the Irelands.
My favorite character are Damien, because he fought for the really
independence of his country and the equal repartition of the lands and the
reappropriation of the country because he and the IRA were not conforming to colonial
peace, until the death. Maybe I still have a little bit of Christians ideals,
because the martyrs still moving me. Also, Sinead was very brave and strog, I like this character but I think I didn't see important scenes of she :c
One thing I liked about film is the BSO of movie, I think the realistic
sound and the silence was a good choice, because it talks a lot about the place
that tried to represent and give a special and respectful tone to the story in
the film. I think the end is a little
rush, so I am not agreeing at all.
My favorite scene is when the IRA decided to landlord have to pay for his economic abuses because they have a change in the way of economic sistems works and give the land to the irish farmers.
I watched this movie today too! amazing coincidence. I really like it... was hard, but we need to know how was the political and war things about 20s decades
